Old Cowboys - Mauna Kea
This series of old cowboys and ranching photos are taken from old photo albums that belong to my Mom. She grew up in a ranching community back in the 1930s, 40s and early 50s. Kukuiau Ranch located on the Big Island of Hawaii was a beautiful and wonderful place, as I visited many times in the 1960s and 70s. Sadly the ranch closed in 1984 and has since been sold off.
